look how long it’s been since my last post.
finals are looming and i seem to be in a scramble all the time to keep on top of it all. actually, when i am caught up on my homework and projects, i feel like i am just flogging it because i don’t do a lot of extra work, truth be told. mostly just enough to get by.
i am paying for that now, since i need three major projects to be done in the next couple of weeks or less. if i’d been steaming along at full speed all along i wouldn’t be in this crunch.
i need four web sites and i just barely have two started.
i can use bits from each other to build on. i need four pages for HTML, a couple pages for photoshop, and something (don’t quite know what) for flash.
i am also putting together a portfolio for an internship. i can use most of it for these other projects, but it is still daunting, and here i sit, frozen, not moving. i need to get off it and MOVE!!! but….
monday i have to hit it hard. i worked a lot last week and just kept my head above water., made very little progress on the projects.
so far i have all A’s.
next term i was hoping to take some easier/less time-consuming classes, but it looks like i will have a lot of homework there, too. oh well, if i get some internships, at least i won’t starve.
i can get credit hours for the internships, 1 credit for 80 hrs of work. seems like a lot of work, but i get paid. thing is, it looks like it won’t all reflect on my schedule until it’s done, in other words, one credit hour shows up at a time, which measn i might have to take two extra credits to keep my 12 credits. i need twelve credits to get the money part. grants and loans and forbearance on my existing student loan.
i can take two one credit classes, they are short art classes, but jam packed into a small time space, 6 weeks each. that probably means a lot of homework. i am already looking at at least 2 solid classes with lots of homework, 3-d animation and dreamweaver web design.
