Old Friends

Our friends from Minnesota are here! We’re already excited and have eaten too much. We had to have snackies to sit down and talk, well we visited for an hour or more, snacking all the time. Guacamole and chips, date bars, cashews, chocolate-covered pretzels, grapes, apples and cheese. Boy did we pig out!
The boys are out looking at the trucks, one has a dead battery and they are discussing a possible short in a wire on the other one. Real guy stuff.
Us gals are in the kitchen, drinking tea, cooking dinner and catching up. I can’t believe it’s been three years since we last saw each other, seems like yesterday.
