We are leaving our yard for ten days in a row. Dave is draining the pond fountains so we don’t get mosquitoes and covering the pond so it will not break up in the direct sun, we got a soaker hose to soak the yard while the trees are being watered by our wonderful children every five days.
This hose is permeable, so the water just beads up on it and soaks the ground under it. We got 50 ft. and will twine it around the grass. When the kids turn on the water for an overnight citrus tree watering, the soaker will be laying in the yard and will work all night.
Shouldn’t be too hard, but we are very grateful for our kids because we love our backyard.
