I feel like I could literally melt right here where I sit. In the middle of the one of hottest months, and in one of the hottest states, my air conditioner decided that it was time to take a vacation. That’s right- it’s 116 degrees outside, and my A/C is dead. Sure, I still have an evaporative cooler, but it’s still about 90 (and really humid) in the house.
This time of year, it takes a week to get anybody to actually come out and service or repair an air conditioning unit because they are simply too busy, so I’m taking matter into my own hands… since I’m not an HVAC repair technician, that means I’m pretty much replacing things at random and hoping for the best. Yay.

Legend has it that Abraham Lincoln could own you in a footrace. Maybe that’s why there are cars named after him.
All kidding aside, this concept Lincon appeared on ebay recently:

The doors tuck under the vehicle. Apparently, the auto manufacturers were concerned about people being able to get out of tight parking spaces. You can get the full scoop, and see a video of this cool door in action here.

The other day, I saw two ferraris on the road, on two separate occasions during the same day. That’s something you don’t see every day.

A few days ago, I was on a car buying mission- I look at a lot of junk, and ended up with two gems- a plymouth duster and a dodge neon. We had to hurry off to the edge of town to look at the neon, and within minutes of buying the car, a pair of dealers came up, apparently meaning to buy the car. We’d beat them to the punch by minutes. I offered to sell them the car for $500 more than we paid for it, but they weren’t going for it.
